Von den Häusern seiner Kindheit, den Parks, die er besucht hat, die Schulen, die Bordelle, das Ritz bis zu seinem Sterbehaus in der '44 rue Hamelin' verfolgt man den Schriftsteller durch Paris.Dazu gibt es immer wieder kleine Anekdoten, Bilder und Zitate des Künstlers. Leider kann man nur noch wenige Orte, die in dem Buch beschrieben werden, im Original besichtigen, trotzdem fand ich das Buch sehr interessant und sollte ich es mich tatsächlich doch nochmal nach Paris verschlagen, werde ich sicherlich der ein oder andere Spur Prousts nachgehen. Eine faszinierende Zeit und ein faszinierender Mann.
